How to submit an answer
When you're ready to submit your answers, click the "Next" or "Record Answer" button at the bottom of the page.
Important: Be sure you're ready before clicking this button, as you won't be able to change your answers afterwards.
DO NOT click the "back" button on your browser.
Encountering errors submitting an answer
If you have trouble submitting your answers, try these steps:
- Ensure you selected a response: A red banner at the top of the screen will notify you if you haven't answered all the questions or provided all the required responses.
- Ensure you're not on a Virtual Private Network (VPN): Don't use a VPN during assessments. VPNs encrypt your internet traffic and hiding your IP address, but they can cause submission errors. Read the Turning off your Virtual Private Network (VPN) article for more information on VPNs and how to disable them.
- If these steps don't resolve the issue: Stop the assessment and contact the OPM USA Hire Help Desk for assistance.
