Depending on your needs, either the hiring agency or OPM USA Hire Help Desk may be the best point of contact.
Option 1 | Contacting the hiring agency
The hiring agency can help with general assistance about the USA Hire online assessments, including:
- Assessment deadlines (questions, expired deadlines, extension requests)
- Score inquiry (pass/fail, outcome)
- Application status (outstanding tasks, next steps, what to expect next)
How to Contact the Hiring Agency
- From your USAJOBS home page, after signing into your account, locate the job announcement.
- Select the (+) sign next to the position title to expand the information regarding that announcement.
- Select the Full job announcement link which will appear in the expanded information
- Within the job announcement, scroll down to the Agency contact information section within the How to Apply section to locate the agency point of contact information.
- Call or email the agency contact.
Option 2 | Contacting OPM
The OPM USA Hire Help Desk can help with technical assistance related to accessing or completing online assessments, including:
- Authentication issues (link and login)
- Assessment delivery issues (assessment text, page/question progression, timer, video player)
- Error messages
- Reasonable Accommodation requests
